You’re Not Failing. You’re Early.
Why Patience is a Virtue For Weekday Writers
During lockdown, I tried to build an affiliate blog about green energy. It was called ‘Yields of Green’.
I even created a fancy logo for it in Canva:
I was convinced it would free me from client work, build passive income, and help save the planet.
I published six posts in three months.
Then I gave up.
Because I wasn’t seeing results fast enough, life got busy, and because “maybe it wasn’t the right niche.”
I didn’t know it yet, but I wasn’t failing — I was just early.
What no one tells you about building a content business is this:
Most of the rewards come after the point when you feel like quitting.
Those first few months? You’re just learning to show up.
You’re discovering your voice.
You’re building trust equity with yourself.
The world won’t reward your decision to start.
It rewards your decision to keep going.
Write One Short Post. Every Weekday
Not long essays, viral threads, or a perfect newsletter.
Just… one short post. Every weekday.
For 6–12 months.
That’s it.
No skipping, overthinking, or chasing hacks.
Because this isn’t a hack.
It’s a habit.
Audience Follows Attention. Attention Follows Consistency.
You don’t need more tools or a “better” niche.
You don’t need to wait until you have more time.
You need a system and a daily rep.
You need to trust that showing up is the actual strategy.
That’s why I created Weekday Writer.
It’s the accountability you’ve been missing.
